It has been a month of success for our sporting superstars at BSJS. In the Rotherham School Games Cross Country our teams placed: LKS2 Boys - 2nd place overall UKS2 Boys - 6th place overall UKS2 Girls individually came 4th, 28th and 29th Amazing achievements for all our runners! In the Y3/4 boys football tournament, the boys played 5 group stage matches winning 4 and drawing 1 game to finish top of the group. This week is the National Cycle to School Week, running from the 13th to the 17th of October. We are encouraging as many of our children as possible to take their journey to school on a bike or a scooter and maybe even create a healthy habit for the rest of the year. So far we've had over 40 children taking advantage of this and we are giving out prizes for those children that can use their bike or scooter for at least 3 of the 5 days!
