Bramley Sunnyside Junior School

The children across school had the opportunity to test out some virtual reality learning and loved it! Y3 ventured to Mount Everest before experiencing what it would be like to be at the summit; Y4 explored the different biomes around the world; Y5 stood on the top of an active volcano and Y6 investigated climate change, seeing first had some of the effects across the world.

Our scientists have been hard at work across school. We've had investigations into the force of friction in Y3 where they had to decide on a surface that would allow the vehicle to travel the fastest. Y5 have had to think about the shapes that are the most streamlined and they got a little wet doing it! Y6 studied biology in their lessons with some research into the circulatory and digestive systems - some giggles came from this! Y4 investigated the properties of materials as they looked into...
