  • Tier 1 – our culture and values underpin every aspect of our school life and drive everything that we do.

  • Tier 2 – our ambitious, carefully constructed curriculum supports progression in learning. Personal development is evident across the curriculum, more specifically in RSE, PSHE, PE, computing and science.

  • Tier 3 – details the whole school strategies that all children access universally

  • Tier 4 – outlines targeted personal development opportunities which are available at specific times for identified children.

Ethos

We are ambitious for our children – being passionate for each and every one to achieve the very best that they can. We believe that our offer is exceptional through the cultural capital our meaningful curriculum provides.

 

We know, from evidence and experience, that children who learn through purposeful arts and culture achieve more in school, being happier and healthier. As young adults they are more likely to vote, go to university, and to secure and stay in a good job.

 

At Bramley Sunnyside Junior School, every child will be given the opportunity to: -

We dream of a future where being creative and experiencing a brilliant culture is a regular part of every child’s learning experience. As a school, we consciously consider progressive experiences during the school year and over: this is open to all children as we are ferociously committed to identifying and removing the systematic, social and economic barriers that stop children from marginalised backgrounds engaging in arts and culture.
