From mummies to giant wooly rhino's...Y3 saw it all on their visit to Weston Park Museum in Sheffield. Y3 are learning all about the ancient Egyptians in school and a visit to the museum for a workshop and a tour was just what they needed to consolidate and ignite their enthusiasm for one of history's amazing topics!

Y4 had an amazing day celebrating their history topic in style. We had shield walls, Latin names and Roman maths. The children came in some great outfits - thank you all for making such a great effort for our day.

Remembrance Day @BSJS

What an unbelievable day the Y3's have had! They were transported back to the Stone Age for a world of discovery. They developed their own paints for cave painting, crafted clay jewelry, built biscuit Stone Henge and visited a 'real' cave nestled in a far away part of school... somewhere between Mrs Ashton's office and class 5C.
